This collection is a collaboration with designer Guo Pei - remember Rihanna in that beautiful yellow dress - if not google it, it was amazing. It comes with all special edition packaging, and of course special edition prices!
This collection was crazy expensive, I really wanted that face powder, but £50 - way too much! But, I did want something with such amazing packaging - even though gold is not my thing. So I went for the eyeshadow palette in Night Sky - which is the one with the gorgeous blue shades. I actually came online when this was pretty much the only thing left, so its just as well that was the only thing I actually did want.

I love blue eyeshadow so this was a no brainer for me, but that packaging - wow! Its gold (feels like metal), is smaller than usual eyeshadow quads and has a silk/satin material front cover - better be careful that my hands are clean when I am handling it. It comes with 4 full size shadows none of which are currently permanent - which is always nice when you get a quad or palette - nobody really wants repeats of items they already have in their collection.
The Night sky palette cost £45, whereas a normal quad in a collection would be £30 - so you get what you pay for here - if you made a palette yourself with 4 shades, this is what it would cost you - and thats why for me this item was actually worth it.
On to some photos:

Ah the beauty of it, however mine did come with the wrong label on the back, I find that quite amusing!

Celestial Peak - looks grey here but as you can see above is a deep blue with micro shimmer, similar to Deep Truth but not the same because the shimmer here is a deeper blue, whereas the shimmer on Deep truth is more of a brighter cobalt blue.

Nehru - this one is a deep charcoal grey black - I dont have anything in my collection like this one, its a really nice colour.

Blue horizon - this is a bright turquoise blue shade, not as bright as electric eel and with a little more shimmer.

Clear bright moon - a gorgeous white shimmery shade, everyone needs one of these - it reminds me of pearls, and as much as I have a number of these colours this one has a lovely soft quality to it even while it is so pigmented. And you have to love that gorgeous embossed flower detail on the surface - needless to say I have only used the areas that are not patterned so far on this beauty!

Heres a closer look at how pretty the pattern is - I love that they just did this on the one shade in the palette to.
Now lets have some swatches:

Nehru, Celestial Peak, Blue Horizon and Clear Bright Moon (L-R)
These swatches were on bare skin with no primer with one swipe - very impressive!
Overall I loved this palette and I am happy to have it as part of my collection.
Until next time, remember its not who or how you kiss, its the colour of your kiss that matters most! xx
